Women in Housing & Finance of Pennsylvania (WHF-PA) is a membership organization that strives to be a networking resource for women in the housing, community development and financial services industries throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
WHF-PA was founded in 2013 by Christine Paul, Rada Lisitsa, Laura Northup and Blanca Ramirez to help provide a supportive and inclusive community dedicated to empowering women in real estate development, where they could network, collaborate and receive the necessary support to excel in their respective fields.
The first formal WHF-PA event was held in November 2013 at the Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania Homes Within Reach conference in Harrisburg, PA.
Membership grew from the seed planted by four women in 2013 to more than one hundred members today.
Members of WHF-PA are a diverse group of accomplished individuals drawn from all aspects of housing, community development and finance. Members include professionals in architecture, banking, law, development, construction, insurance, title, investment banking, municipal finance, historic preservation, property management, supportive services, social services and more. We come from the private sector, state, local, and federal agencies, non-profit organizations and community groups.
